About Me

Hi, my name is Kim.

I provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, loss, life transitions, trauma or simply feeling overwhelmed, I’m here to listen and support you.

As a qualified BACP-registered Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, I work in an integrative way, offering a variety of services to meet your individual needs.  I am a firm believer that although I may have a range of skills and techniques to be able to offer, you are the expert on yourself, so it is very much about working together to meet your goals.

EMDR

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is a highly effective therapy used to treat trauma and distressing experiences. Walking Therapy

There has been lots of research about the benefits of both exercising and being in nature has on mental wellbeing. It has been shown to reduce stress, help with depression, anxiety, insomnia, restore mental clarity and promote physical and mental healing.

Some people can feel overwhelmed by the intimacy of sitting in a room with a counsellor. Going out for a walk together can help to build the therapeutic relationship and reduce some of the intensity of sitting face to face. Combining movement and counselling can be very therapeutic.
